The End of the Prophet’s Duty in This World

"O my people, we are all in God's power and His love. Then obey and godfearing Him. I Bequeath two things to you, the Qur'an and the Sunnah. He who loves my Sunnah, means love me and later the people who love me, will enter the heaven along with me. "

That brief sermon concluded with the Prophet's eyes were calm and stared eagerly to his friends one by one. Abu Bakr looked into these eyes with eyes glazed. Umar chest is up and down holding his breath and tears. Usman sighed and Ali bowed his head deeply. The cue has come, of the time. "The Messenger of Allah will leave us all," complained the hearts of all friends at that time. The Man loved, almost finished doing his duties in the world.

The signs were stronger, when Ali and Fadhal knowing of the Prophet who starting to became so weak and wobbly when he came down from the pulpit. At that time, if able, all the friends who were there definitely will hold the seconds passed. The higher the sun, but the Prophet's door was still closed. In there, the Prophet was lying low with a sweaty brow and moistened the palm midrib that became his bed.

Suddenly from outside the door, heard a shouted greeting. "May I come in?" He asked. But Fatimah did not let him in, "Forgive me, my father had a fever," said Fatimah who turned and closed the door.

Then he returned to accompany his father who had already opened his eyes and asked Fatimah, "Who is that, O my daughter?" 'I do not know my father, seem just this once I saw him, "Fatimah said gently. Then, Rasulullah looked at his daughter with a thrill. As if her facial portion after portion was about to be remembered forever.

"Behold, it’s he who abolished the temporary pleasures, he who separates the world gatherings. He is the death angel, "said the Prophet. Then Fatimah withstand the blast tears. Angel of death came up, but the Prophet asked why Gabriel did not come together with him. Then was called Gabriel who already prepared standing over the world’s sky to welcome the spirit of the lover of Allah and the muslim leader.

"Gabriel, explain me what are my rights in front of Allah?" ask the messenger of Allah with a very weak voice. "The doors of sky has opened, the angels have been waiting for your spirit. All of heavens are wide open waiting for your arrival, "said Gabriel.

But it did not make the Prophet relieved, his eyes were still full of anxiety. "You do not like to hear this news?" asked Gabriel again. "Tell me what would happened to my people later?" "Do not be no thought, O Messenger of Allah, I heard Allah say to me: ' I have forbad heavens for anyone, except all the people of Muhammad had been in it," said Gabriel.

Seconds closer, it’s the time of Azrael to do his duty. Slowly the spirit of the Prophet was withdrawn. Seems the Prophet’s whole body drenched in sweat and his neck veins sfiffened. "Gabriel, how painful this death is." Slowly the Prophet groan. Fatimah closed her eyes, Ali who beside her bowed deeper and Gabriel looked away. "Are you disgusted to see me, so you looked away Gabriel?" asked the Prophet to the Angel of Revelation. "Who can bear to see a lover of Allah taken away to die?," said Gabriel.

A moment later, heard the Messenger was squealing, becaus the pain becomes unbearable. "Oh Allah, this terrible sense of death, inflict it all of the pains to me, not on my people." His body started to cold, his legs and chest were not moving anymore. Her lips trembled as if to whisper something. Ali immediately put his ear nearer, "Uushiikum bis shalati, wa maa malakat aimanuku" - "Keep the praying and keep the weak people in your midst."

Outside the door, tears starting to sound shouted, all of friends were hugging each other. Fatimah put her hands on his face, and Ali again put his ear to the Prophet’s lips who started to bluish, "Ummatii, ummatii, ummatiii" - "My people, my people, my people ..." And then, end the life of the precious human who give light to all of us.

Now, can we love like the Prophet was? Allahumma shalli 'ala Muhammad wa baarik wa sallim be upon the Messenger of Allah.
